The Sharent Trap: Parents Sharing on Social Media
Wednesday Mar 11, 2020
Wednesday Mar 11, 2020
Have you ever been caught in a sharent trap? You know, where you share too much of your kiddos on social media! Knowing if, or when, to post pictures of your children is not always an easy decision. Especially when your child is the cutest kiddo in the whole world, and you want everyone to see. There are so many circumstances to think about, especially safety and privacy. Where do you draw the line and what kind of precautions do you take?
Morgen and Trisha discuss the different ways they approach social media and how they strive to find a balance when they share information. They also discuss social media alternatives for sharing pictures and videos of the girls. Oddly enough, sharing stories about Charlie and Remi on the podcast feels the safest and the most comfortable for them both, so thanks for being such great listeners and supporters! And if you have any tips or tricks for how you share pictures, Morgen and Trisha would love to hear them.

Me Talk Pretty One Day, Toddlers and Language Development
Wednesday Feb 26, 2020
Wednesday Feb 26, 2020
Pediatrician visits brought on new developmental milestones that Remi & Charlie should be reaching, and the ladies discuss the one question that got into their heads from their visits.
Are you worried about how many words your child is saying?
It’s hard not to compare your child to others, especially when it comes to their development, but Morgen and Trisha try to keep two major things in mind. First, each child develops at their own pace. Secondly, to pay attention to their overall progress because that is more important than the specifics. Baby steps people, baby steps!
Listen in as Morgen & Trisha go through their language development checklist (and Morgen tries out her British accent, apologies ahead of time to the Brit’s listening in) and decide for yourself where you could improve and where you are excelling!

Does Being a Parent Make You Well Rounded?
Wednesday Feb 19, 2020
Wednesday Feb 19, 2020
Morgen and Trisha welcome Jessica, Trisha's identical twin sister, to the show as they discuss why being a mom or really any caregiver, whether it's a father, a stepparent, a grandparent, or an aunt makes them well-rounded individuals.
It wasn't until the ladies became moms that they realized their capacity for love, which also has given them a greater sense of empathy, patience, and compassion in their daily lives. They've become better at time management, improved their health, and have found ways to create boundaries and balance.
The bottom line is being a mom is rewarding, but it comes with its fair share of challenges. If you're anything like Morgen, Trisha, or Jessica, then you sometimes find yourself focusing too much on the things you feel you're not doing well. Today is all about taking a step back and acknowledging all that you are and all that you do, no matter who you are or what role you play. So cheers to killing it, and being a more well-rounded individual!

The Things We Will Miss Most at This Age
Wednesday Feb 12, 2020
Wednesday Feb 12, 2020
This may be their sweetest episode yet. Morgen and Trisha talk about all the things they are going to miss about their girls at this age, as they quickly transition into toddlerhood. Reflecting on their memories with Charlie and Remi got them thinking about their lives since the girls were born, and their emotions got the best of them. Yup, spoiler alert, it the first episode where they both get a little choked up.
The ladies are so grateful to be moms and so thankful for their little's. As much as the girls are learning from them, they have a lot to learn from the girls. They're so carefree and happy (most of the time). They're curious, adventurous, and inquisitive. There is pure joy in their smiles and laughs, which has a way of stopping the moms' in their tracks and wanting to join in.
Whether you're a mama or a papa or a soon-to-be, Morgen and Trisha would love to hear your thoughts and what you will miss or have missed with your kiddos. Share your memories with them at momjeansandminivans@yahoo.com.

Tips, Tricks, and Timesavers with Kids
Wednesday Feb 05, 2020
Wednesday Feb 05, 2020
Let’s be honest, us moms are always on the go so any daily tips, tricks, or timesavers can make all the difference. Listen in as we share what we do or have learned along the way. Perhaps not intentional, but reducing diaper changes saves time, money, and is better for the environment. Although we are pretty sure it knocks us down a level on the best mom rating scale. Worth it?!
Sometimes it’s as simple as the bibs we use or breaking food up with our fingers versus using a knife and fork. Fun fact, frozen fruits, and veggies are actually fresher than buying from the produce section, and they last longer so stock up mamas (papas and caretakers).
Teaching moments can also save a lot of time, and they’re learning in the process too, so get them brushing their teeth/hair, cleaning up after themselves and eating with a fork/spoon and save yourself some time.
We’ve got dozens more in store, so listen in and let us know some of yours as well. Oh, and the momfessions are fun and definitely relatable. Sometimes hugs are the cure for everything.

Wednesday Jan 29, 2020
Wednesday Jan 29, 2020
"Would You Rather" Momma's Edition 2020 coming at ya! Poop, puke, and more poop, caffeine vs. alcohol, sexy time exhaustion vs. sleepless baby exhaustion, nursing with cut nipples vs. hair being pulled, and countless more questions with endless giggles.
Did you know Morgen can't stand the texture of bananas, and Trisha is all business when it comes to poo? Laundry becomes a hot topic because let's face it; kids equal loads of laundry. Some answers come too easy, while others are serious brain stumpers. Have fun with their quirky questions and answers and share some of your own with them at momjeansandminivans@yahoo.com!

Preggo For The First Time
Wednesday Jan 22, 2020
Wednesday Jan 22, 2020
You're only pregnant for the 1st time once! Today we have Alysha with us, who is 26 weeks pregnant with her first child. This episode is all about preggo firsts.
Listen in as Aysha shares what her perfect pregnancy, labor, and delivery plan are, while Trisha and Morgen chime in on the things they remembered from their pregnancies, 15+ months ago! Weight gain, fatigue, morning sickness, and how the mere smell of food could get you running to the toilet. They discuss the pros and cons of maternity clothing in Winter vs. Summer. They cover it all. The ladies share their "been there, done that" advice with Alysha, and if Morgen hadn't been balancing a crying Charlie during that point of the conversation, her advice most surely would have been meal prep before the baby gets here! Load up the freezer with breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals to pull from the next three months after the baby arrives. Please share your birth plans and stories with us as well. Congrats to all the 1st time moms and all the ones with multiples too!

My Toddler Is Getting On My Last Nerve
Wednesday Jan 15, 2020
Wednesday Jan 15, 2020
Ever feel like your toddler is getting on your last nerve?! Welcome to this week's episode!
The toddler tantrums are in full swing, and those personalities are truly shining through. Charlie's got a fiery side, and Remi has a case of FOMO keeping her from napping.
The taste buds are changing, and it is a daily challenge to get them to eat a balanced meal without flicking food from their mouths or deciding the food you gave them is too big, too small, too soft, too hard. Ever feel like you're a servant serving a Queen? Morgen and Trisha do!
Do you feel like you are saying "No" on repeat? Or wonder when, if ever your child will learn how to share, stop whining, and where they learned to bite like that? Morgen and Trisha do! And then, as if by magic, they get a mom win, and everything else seems to melt away. Stay tuned for their momsessions. They really kick off the New Year with some good ones!

New Years Intentions, Bring on 2020!
Wednesday Dec 25, 2019
Wednesday Dec 25, 2019
2020 is right around the corner, and this year Morgen and Trisha have decided to throw 'resolutions' out the window and instead set intentions for the year. This episode is all about speaking them into existence. They start big with their plans of getting into a better home and growing their families. Careers and finances always seem to be somewhere on the list to improve upon or figure out! Let's not forget the intangible. Morgen and Trisha want to work on forgiving themselves and being more present with Charlie and Remi, along with some fun ideas for the year. Speaking of Charlie and Remi, they sprinkle 'mom-gushes' in with their year of intentions, but can you blame them, they lucked out with these two?! What are your intentions for the year? We hope this episode gets the ball rolling and you put it out there for the universe to answer back! Cheers to 2020, and thank you for joining us in 2019!
